Jimmy, founder of Devoted Events, began DJing at the tender age of just 13, doing school discos, friends’ parties, etc.  From then to this day he has continually been a DJ.  Even when changing to day work to focus on starting his family DJing has always been a passion so every weekend gigs would take over.  Jimmy returned to his roots full-time as a DJ in 2014 with the relaunch of Jimmy Lee Entertainments.  The company’s success and the awards were forthcoming which led to the re-brand to Devoted Events in 2018 to highlight our exclusive focus on what we love most – weddings. 

Due to the increased demand and popularity of our Photobooth business we also created sister company Devoted Photobooths to provide a wide range of photobooths that are not limited to weddings alone.  To further expand the business’ reach Jimmy’s wife and travel agent Caroline, formed Devoted Holidays, the honeymoon specialist.  Chelmer Discos was created soon after to cater for all other parties which were in demand to mostly look after previous couples, recommendations and particular venues this now completed the Devoted Group.  We really do deliver the whole package!

We cover the whole of the South East of England primarily Essex, Kent, Surrey, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Greater London.  Our wedding DJ and Event Planning services can be tailored to your budget and taste and packages can include starlit dance floors, video screens, cold sparks, dry ice, confetti cannons, mirror balls, photo booths, magic mirrors, 360 Degree Video Booths, starlit backdrops and mood lighting and more!
